Ingredients
- 3 Celery Sticks
- Peanut Butter
- A container of raisins
Instructions
- Wash the celery sticks and cut each stick in half.
- Add and spread the peanut butter into the inner part of each celery stick.
- Push raisins on top of the peanut butter to represent “ants”
Alternatives (Fruit & Vegs)
- Carrots
- Cucumber (slice in half, lengthways and scrape out seeds)
- Banana (slice in half, lengthways)
- Apple (cut into wedges)
- Pear (cut into wedges)
- Peach / Nectarine (cut into wedges)
Sometimes you may want to use something other than peanut butter. For these times there is a list below of other things that you can substitute out.
- Cream Cheese
- Sour Cream
- Cottage Cheese
- Hummus
- Yogurt (plain or vanilla, or heck you could use any flavor)
- Avocado (This is one of my kids favorites)
- French Onion Dip
If your kids are anything like mine, they will get sick of raisins. Always have other options for them.
- Green Peppers
- Dried Fruit (Mangos, Apples, Cranberries, Cherries, Strawberries, Blueberries)
- Peas/Green Beans (My kids used to love these)
- Corn
- Cut Tomatoes
- Chives
- Cut Potatoes
- Grapes/Blueberries/Strawberries
- Nuts (Peanuts, Almmonds, & Pecans)
